On Tuesday 26 April 2022 at 16:00, a round table titled Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Space Law was organised at the Faculty of Law of Ljubljana, where, in addition to Prof. Rebecca Bresnik from the University of Houston, who also serves as International Affairs Advisor at NASA, and Prof. Dr. Jan Wouters, Professor at the University of Leuven, our young researcher Iva Ramuš Cvetkovič also participated as a speaker.
The round table raised and answered some topical questions on space law, artificial intelligence and their impact on the right to life. It was moderated by Prof. Dr. Vasilka Sancin.
In her contribution, Iva Ramuš Cvetkovič focused in particular on the threats to human life posed by the use and misuse of space objects, and questioned whether artificial intelligence can really be a solution in this area.
