On Monday, 5 June 2023, at 6 pm, a talk with our researcher prof. dr. Renata Salecl and dr. Ana Kučan will take place in the Konzorcij bookstore under the title “A time of roughness, a time of gardens, a time of crises”.
On the occasion of the publication of her new book, Time of Roughness, the author, dr. Renata Salecl, will be in conversation with landscape architect dr. Ana Kučan, who, together with dr. Matej Kurir, edited the recently published collection of essays, The Garden and the Metaphor. The contributions in the two seemingly very different books are linked by a tendency to reflect on the contemporary era of neoliberalism, which pays less and less attention to community, dignity, discussion and intimate space.
