On Thursday, 5 October 2023, we celebrated the 90th anniversary of dr. Alenka Šelih, long-time Director and Researcher at the Institute of Criminology, as part of the National Criminology Conference “Prevention and (In)Justice”.
After a welcoming address by the Director of the Institute, prof. dr. Aleš Završnik two invited speakers took part in the festive panel. Prof. em. dr. Frieder Dünkel discussed the development trends of juvenile criminal law in the European and international context, and Judge mag. Renate Winter spoke on international criminal law in the light of the work of the Special Court for Sierra Leone.
