Lora Briški

Researcher

Lora Briški is a researcher at the Institute of Criminology at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. She has studied Law at the University of Ljubljana. After completing her postgraduate studies, she worked as a junior researcher at the Institute of Criminology. She also completed an internship at the Ljubljana High Court during this time. She graduated with a thesis on the possibilities of modifying the dispute parameters during the criminal trial. Since starting her PhD in 2019, she has worked on a number of research projects at the Institute of Criminology, including a study on sexual offences, psychological mechanisms in the legal context, and consistency of sentencing in criminal proceedings.
